Like a gourd on a tree this grew on me. Relaxing and soothing.
Chris Opperman is the Rock Gourd of classical music. Favorite track: Aphrodite Nights.

about

"Aphrodite Nights" was written and performed on the gourd tree, one of many unique microtonal instruments invented and built by Harry Partch in the mid-20th century. This instrument was built specifically with parts given to Partch by the legendary percussionist Emil Richards. It was performed beautifully by Ryan McCausland and features gorgeous artwork by comic book artist Tony Akins (Wonder Woman, Fables, Star Wars).
